Alex's Bio
Alex Bostic is an Illustrator and Artist. He was raised in Brooklyn, New York. He received his Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree from Pratt Institute and his Master of Arts Degree from Syracuse University. Alex began his career as a studio artist, working in Kansas City, Missouri and Los Angeles California. He retuned to New York City and began a full time career as a freelance illustrator and co-owner of Illumination Studio, which specialized in advertising art.
He is a member of the Society of Illustrators of Los Angeles, as well as memberships at The Illustrators Club of Washington D.C./Maryland, The Portrait Society America and The Oil Painters of America. Alex lives with his wife and two children; in Glen Allen where they are owners of Celeste Studio.
Mr. Bostic’s work represented by Portsort Artist Representative his work is in the collection of The National Baseball Hall of Fame, Cooperstown, New York, The Ludwig Museum, West Germany, Wilberforce University, Wilberforce, Ohio, The National Gallery of Zimbabwe, Africa, and National Aeronautics and Space Administration, NASA Headquarters in Washington, DC.
